Liberty Mutual is dedicated to helping people on the road – in their cars, or their sneakers. We helped runners share their feelings with friends and family mid-race, and allowed their supporters to respond with encouragement in real time.
The campaign was so successful, runners returned the next year asking if the program was being continued. It also earned a Cannes Lion for Innovation.
We followed two runners in the days before the race.
Angela Rodriguez was a lifelong marathoner logging miles to raise money for daughter. Kevin Felisme was a first-timer determined to cross the finish line.
Both videos were used following the race as part of the wider campaign.
