Waiting…
I’ve got a buttload of games preordered that come out in the next month or so, but I have nothing to do until then (games-wise).
Today I decided to pop in Assassin’s Creed one more time and play it through to get that final nagging achievement. I guess it’s my way of saying goodbye to the game.
I’m planning on selling a bunch of them, seeing as how I’ve completed most of them and I’ll never touch them again, and Daddio seems loathe to break down and buy himself one.
Maybe the prospect of a bunch of free games is scary, I dunno.
Just thought I’d update this dusty old thing before the last post started to grow mold.

Nothing really to report other than I pre-ordered Stephen King’s new set of short stories that comes out this November.
Other than that, just wanted to add another depressing Jon Arbuckle image to the growing pile.

I don’t know if anyone who reads this was at all curious, because you were probably informed, but I just wanted to let everyone know there was actually a reason for the long space between posts this time OTHER than laziness and depression.
It would seem as though the gods of computation decided to throw a party, and then while they were drunk, decided to fumblingly grope the insides of my iMac, causing all sorts of havok.
And not the good kind either, like with a mini atomic bomb launcher. The bad kind. The “is-that-a-colon-polyp-I-feel” kind.
So, my computer wouldn’t turn on Wednesday morning, the 20th of August. I spent all of that day trying to remedy the problem myself, but couldn’t even get it up to the startup chime. For all intents and purposes, it was dead.
